Description
The purpose of this chinstrap is to stabilize or anchor the facemask in place and keep a full facemask from sliding upward while sleeping. Some headgear will have upward pressure while wearing, causing the mask to gradually slide upward, breaking the seal and creating a leak.
Since there is no skin contact with your mask where there is facial hair, you have an increased potential for this to happen. The Chinstrap works equally well for women or men without facial hair but have trouble stabilizing their masks.
